Zitat Tony Guadagno has owned and operated Carnival Midway Attractions for the past 19 years. His family has been involved in the mobile amusement industry for over 50 years. Tony grew up in the family business and after receiving his degree in Architecture in 1978, he went back to the family show to help his parents and brothers run the family business. In 1996 Tony decided to go out on his own and Carnival Midway Attractions was born. Tony is also the midway coordinator for the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar, California. The SDCF runs from early June through July 4th and is the 6th largest fair in the United States with a fair attendance of 1.5 million. The midway is not serviced by one particular carnival, but instead rides are brought in from multiple vendors and Tony oversees everything from daily operations to coordinating the midway.

Shawnee Merten also comes from a four-generation carnival family. Shawnee’s family’s show was started in 1949 and he grew up and worked on the show from an early age. After receiving his degree in Business Management, Economics and Political Science in 1972 from San Diego State University he managed a fair in northern California. In 1980 he joined a large national insurance brokerage firm in the Entertainment Specialty division in San Antonio, TX. By doing so, Shawnee helped start Allied Specialty Insurance. In 1987, Shawnee went back to the family show and ran the booking office and marketing departments until 2004 when the company was sold. In 1997 he started his own event management and consulting business and has been managing and producing events for the last 18 years.

Carnival Midway Attractions currently operates in California and Wyoming and is expanding its route into Idaho, Montana, Utah and Colorado. We are a full service company providing rides, games, food concessions and event management and support to over 60 events each year including county fairs, community festivals, corporate events, church festivals and non profit fund raisers. We also provide attractions and equipment for movie and television production.

We provide modern and exciting rides that appeal to all age groups. Carnival Midway Attractions owns and operates over 40 amusement rides geared for all ages. Our rides are available with our complete midway packages for fairs, festivals, and events, or available as single unit rentals for corporate events and film productions.

We have a variety of attractions ranging from thrill rides to family rides and kiddie rides for our younger guests. For guests wanting a adrenalin rush, the Zipper will provide just that as they flip head over heels on this 50ft tall attraction. For more of a family experience, patrons will enjoy the Pharaoh's Fury, our giant 60ft tall swinging ship or a gentle ride on our 65ft tall Giant Century Wheel. For kiddie rides, we have a wide assortment ranging from the popular obstacle course, the Raiders to the Italian built Bumble Bee ride.
